  External cedar cladding and window reveals

  Joe made a welcome return to our project, this time to tackle the external cladding. A mathematical combination of cedar shingles, vertical cedar strips, differing rooflines and angled windows, nothing standard, everything cut bespoke! The attention to detail and astute planning before a single nail was struck cannot be underestimated, Joe had thoroughly considered this all. As before Joe and team swiftly made an excellent job. It’s a pleasure to have Joe about, his workmanship, attention to detail are excellent, I can’t say more. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Joe.

  Loft conversion

  This is the second large project Joe has done for us. The first was massive, basically rebuilding and extending our house. This time - a loft conversion, with lots of tricky spaces, structural challenges and windows. Joe is very professional, honest, good value, excellent workmanship and reliable; hers also a really lovely guy. We feel very lucky to have him as our builder!

  Single Storey Extension - Toilet/Wet Room

  JR Building Services have made an excellent job of our new single storey extension for a down stairs toilet/wet room. The quality of workmanship is excellent with everything finished to a very high standard. The work was carried out with care and consideration. We would highly recommend their services.

  Joe is hardworking, courteous, and very knowledgeable. His clear understanding of our brief combined with mindfulness about budget, meant our project was completed without issue and on time.   Attic conversion with dormer windows

  External works- soakaways, patio and landscaping

  It was our pleasure to welcome Joe back to our project. He returned to deal with a lot of the external ground works, including digging two soakaways, connecting all of the drainage, constructing a sunken patio and a second raised patio. As ever he made the process a joy and although a lot of digging and mess involved Joe’s neat and logical work ethic kept the project clean. In the end there was little evidence of all the uplift. Would happily recommend Joe.
