I needed some remedial work done in my bathroom which involved a section being re tiled, bath being re sealed and the bath side panel to be replaced. I had concerns at first with trying to source someone as it may not be considered big enough, but not Jim Radford. Jim has been absolutely outstanding from start to finish & very accommodating. He sourced some great border tiles for me and his work and attention to detail was very good. Taking great care & going that bit extra. A very happy customer. I recommend J Radford Home services very much. Thanks Richard.

How refreshing to find a good honest tradesman who really does go the extra mile. Good advice on the bathroom and kitchen work, clear specification and costing of the work, excellent communications, and a can-do attitude. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Remedial bathroom word

Jim came and did a great deal of remedial work at my bungalow after the previous company made a mess of my shower. He is reliable and makes sure you know what he is doing all through the work. His work is first class and I am really pleased with the finished job. I high recommend him.

Hi there, I’m Jim Radford. I ran a very successful bathroom and kitchen installation company in Checkatrade in Surrey (J Radford & Sons ) for many years which I passed on to my eldest son when I moved to Dorset in 2020 and it's still going strong. I have decided to advertise again with Checkatrade on a smaller scale. I work mainly on my own and occasionally my son the plasterer helps out. I am fully insured and have over 40 years installing kitchens and bathrooms experience. I am a city and guilds qualified plumber and electrician and am registered with the NICEIC . I believe in doing a good job for a fair price and look for a recommendation on each job. I do complete bathroom and kitchen refurbs, but specialise in adapting bathrooms for people with mobility issues.
