It didn't go well

seemed professional when they came round to do the quote but mistake after mistake was made (replacing a disintegrating flue liner). Doors not shut and no furniture coverings. I provided a sheet on request but it was left on the floor. Towards the end of the day, they pushed the old flue out and an enormous amount of soot covered the room in a thick layer. Sooty handprints were left on walls and furniture in other rooms. Cleaning done inappropriately and caused more damage. Cushion cover used as cloth!£1000s of books and art ruined. New furniture ruined - professional cleaners not interested.

Roof repair ( replacing all felt and battens) to main roof of detached house

John and his team provided an excellent service. He arrived promptly, took photos of my damaged roof and carried out the work speedily and efficiently with minimum disruption. He kept me informed throughout and he and his team were kind and courteous. All the mess was cleared and everything left tidy . I will definitely use JPW again.

Put a call out on Check a trade web site on Saturday. John rang within minutes and booked to see the job that day. Price quoted and agreed. Told to pay when the job was done and I was satisfied. Job done Monday to an at best ok standard. Phone call Tuesday morning asking for payment. Bank details sent. I informed John I would pay later that day as I was at work. He insisted on payment immediately as it was a bit of a cash job for the lads. I said I was at work and would pay later in the day. He rang several times and when I answered threatened to remove the work done and wreck my roof.

leak around chimney

I called JPW building solutions through checker trade john came out and assessed. My chimney found the problem which was the lead had failed around the breast. You gave us a competitive quote and went ahead now the leak has stopped even in the heavy rain which is such a relief. Everything was explained to me in detail and the guys were so polite I would highly recommend this team.
