The storm damaged our felt roof this afternoon, so I rang Jones & Sons to ask for advice. Within an hour, Mike was at our home, making safe and repairing the damage until he can complete the job. Mike was very honest, helpful and accommodating - great service

I had a leak in my roof porch, found Jones & Sons through Checkatrade and they came out quickly to look at the problem. They came the next day and the lads worked hard for 2 days, replacing all the roof felt and mortar etc and putting all the tiles back, replacing any that were damaged. Although the job took them a bit longer than they expected, it was carried out satisfactorily and the area left clean and tidy.

After having had extensive repairs to our roof by Jones and Sons last autumn, we still had two small leaks in our kitchen. When we contacted him he came straight away and fixed the tear in the felt he had not previously uncovered, charged us nothing, then made a plan to repair the neighbour's gully which was causing the other leak when strong wind blew rain under our tiles. Without fuss or noise (but obviously with neighbour's permission) the repair was completed by his sons and has proved very effective in last night's storm. We know if we have any further problems he will return. Great!

After the usual lack of response from 3 other roofers, I came across Mike & his sons. He phoned me back the same day & called round the next morning. Our chimney has been "leaking" for 15 years & even having it recapped & boarded up 12 months ago, still dirty water continues to run down the inside & outside of the chimney. Mike went up into the loft & found that the felt had disintegrated over the years. As soon as they'd finished their existing job, they came & fixed the problem quickly & efficiently. At least 6 other roofers had failed to spot the problem! Would highly recommend Jones & Son

My experience with Jones and Sons was exceptional. From start to finish I could not have wished for a more professional service. The job of renovating a slate roof was initially assessed by Mike. I was given a quotation for the work which included a detailed breakdown of the work involved. Mike organised the scaffolding team and kept me informed when to expect them and also advised me of a start date for the work. Mike's sons were exceptional, courteous, pleasant and extremely hard working. The work was to a high standard with attention paid to detail. The site on completion was left spotless.
