I don't think I have ever met a tradesman quite as professional as Ben. He turned up on time to provide a quote, and did everything in his power to keep within budget. His workmanship is next to none, and he takes pride in doing an excellent job, always ensuring I was happy with the progress. He arrived at 7:30 each day, and worked solidly through the wind and the rain. I cannot recommend him enough!

Fantastic. Really happy with all the work. They took a garden like a building site and made it lovely. Same with the front garden. They built walls, laid victorian tile path, did the paving, fences…everything. Would definitely recommend and use again.

In September 2025, Ben aided by his son Frankie, spent just over a week transforming our front garden landscaping. We had well used concrete tiles in two paths from pavement to the front door and side gate respectively, that needed to be replaced. Before he started Ben described how he would approach the project in detail, gave a recommendation for materials, confirmed our proposals were feasible and gave a fair cost for the works. During the clearance and construction they couldn’t have been more diligent, keeping us informed throughout, being prompt each day and tidying as the job progressed

Ben and his team have completed a few jobs for me over a number of years. Garden gates, fences, lawn and paving. All carried out to a high standard at competitive prices. Highly recommended.

I would like to give a recommendation for Johnsons Gardens. Their professionalism is outstanding. They exceeded our expectations with the block paving for the driveway and built a large step. Ben gave us all sorts of ideas and lots of choices and different price ranges. His work is outstanding and each day complete strangers would walk past and compliment on what a fantastic job he was doing. Ben and his workers are professional polite and leave no mess. He communicates each day his plan of action. Johnsons Gardens exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them.

Ben comes every year to do an overhaul of my garden , cutting back a large apple tree and other shrubs and plants . Ben is reliable and a very pleasant chap who knows his horticulture and his work is always excellent . In the past he has built decking , removed large trees , put up fencing and built a brick path . All were done professionally and with excellent results . I can totally recommend him .
