issue witht he boiler, no hot water

When my boiler started making a strange humming noise, I wasn’t sure what was wrong. I called John Allcock, as I’d seen their van locally and they had good reviews. They inspected it and said the boiler needed replacing, quoting nearly £2,500. Not convinced, I got a second opinion from a local independent engineer. He quickly diagnosed a seized pump caused by sludge, replaced it, flushed the system, and had everything working again the same day for £200. Make sure you get an alternative quote if using these.

From start to finish, this company was professional and courteous. They installed a new boiler, completed some plumbing work, and fitted a new bathroom for us. They were easy to communicate with, really understood what we wanted, and made every effort to keep the space clean throughout the process. We wouldn’t hesitate to have them back—highly recommended!
