JM Plastering did some work on my flat over 3 x days in Edinburgh in Mid December 2025. The work involved fitting Iso Therm insulation to 2 x walls and plastering them to eliminate cold spots. 2 x Passyfier vents were also cored and fitted as well as a new bathroom extractor fan. John visited the flat early in December and advised on what was needed and we agreed a date for the work to start. John gave me a price and confirmed it by email. John was excellent...He arrived on time and did the work perfectly and was very tidy. I would recommend him 100%

John came to do a survey and was very detailed and clear in his findings and recommendations. He completed all the work on time and exactly to plan. The work was completed to a very high standard, and we are very happy with the result. I would happily recommend John as a tradesman; he did exactly what was needed for a fair price.

Needed some damp areas in two bedrooms rectified. Work done to an excellent standard, in time quoted. John explained everything in detail. Thanks again. Thoroughly recommended.

John is a fantastic tradesman - done some damp proofing and patching work for me. Good quality work, and very competitive prices. He's also a friendly guy. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this guy.

John gave me a thorough description of what work was needed to repair an area of damp, told me what he would do, including undoing a mess a ‘handyman’ had made, gave me an estimate and then a timescale for when he might be able to come. I also asked him to skim a wall which was fairly straightforward. He worked hard when he was here, cleaned up very well afterwards, and made a lovely job of the walls. He also came back a few days later to switch the radiator back on after the plaster was dry. I thought the price was very reasonable for the amount of hours he was here.
