  Fixing tiled bathroom floor

  James and his team did an excellent job repairing our tiled bathroom floor, which was newly built just two years ago but, as we have since learned, was constructed by amateurs. James took the time to think carefully about the possible causes, did some tests and then implemented a repair. It has been a few weeks since and the floor is currently holding up well. While it is still too early to say if the fix will work long term, we think James and his team identified the best technology for the fix and the works were carried out professionally.

  First Floor Extension

  We engaged James and the team to build a first floor dormer extension (ensuite and additional bedroom). We are absolutely delighted with the result. The quality of workmanship is excellent but what really stood out was the attention to detail and the communication. The team were on site for the majority of the days and James always kept us informed of progress and talked us through and resolved any issues that were encountered. Also James and the Team are all really approachable and friendly - a real pleasure to work with.

  The best!

  James was the best! He very quickly diagnosed the problem we had with our damp wall. His employees were all very efficient. We are very pleased with the work done and can highly recommend James and his team. At every visit they arrived on time, worked hard and left the place tidy.

  Property works in Eastbourne

  James and his team were instructed initially to complete a damp investigation at a property, we were so pleased with the works completed that we ask him and his team to complete further works including new flooring throughout the property, new window installation, a kitchen installation and other smaller tasks as they appeared. We were grateful for his transparency, great communication and dedication to the tasks at hand. Highly recommend.

  To sort out and resolve serious damp in living room of 1880's cottage.

  From the first visit, James explained in detail the problem that was causing the damp. He gave us a full explanation of what work needed to be done to cure the problem and fully inspected the cottage inside and out. He supplied a detailed quote which outlined what the work would entail and an approximate length of time it would take. All the walls were stripped to bare brick and it was found that the damp had rotted the joists in the floor which also needed replacing. We were kept informed at all times of the progress and the reason for any delays. We are very happy with the results.

  New lime render to cure a dampo problem and brick replacement

  James Martin has helped us with two jobs this year - replacing some cement based render with a lime render to deal with a damp issue and replacing frost-damaged bricks on both sides of the front door. Shaun did a great job for us on these two projects and it is very reassuring to have someone who knows their trade so well.
