Jon is an excellent carpenter. Carried out the work efficiently with minimum of fuss. Clear and easy communication at all times and a nice fella to boot.

Jon replaced the doors in our house with great care, skill and attention to detail. His experience clearly shows in the quality and efficiency of his work. He is also very conscientious about clearing up!

Jon did a fantastic, professional job of replacing 9 doors, including adjusting the frames to fit modern door sizes, fitting handles, locks and hooks. We are delighted and immediately started considering future projects with him. Jon turned up ready to start work just before 8:30 each day and didn’t even stop for lunch. He arrived with everything needed for the job and was cheerful and personable. We had previously had two other carpenters round to look at the job, but they didn’t inspire us with trust. Jon knows his stuff.

Jon turned up to quote the work on a weekend around us and returned a quote in good time. His quote was very reasonable. He then communicated a date for starting within a few weeks and a timescale. He stuck to this perfectly, allowing us to plan around work. The work was of a high standard and Jon made sure to tidy up after himself each day. Jon was very friendly and polite throughout and respected our home whilst getting the job done. Thank you Jon!

At first he was a great choice to carry out the work since when he came to give me a quote he was lovely and very professional. That was the 1st February, he said he'd call a joiner (since I wanted a arched frame done) and he'd get back to me with a quote. So I waited until the 8th February asking politely if there is an update on the quote, but nothing. He's read the message but not a message back. Today is the 2nd March and I haven't heard anything. So honestly, if you need someone quickly, don't go for JLI Carpentey since you'll have to wait ages for a response to maybe never get one at all

Jon came and fitted 9 new doors for me. He was very friendly and very tidy in his work . He fitted the doors in two days and worked tirelessly to get the job done. He was very professional in is work and very nice honest person. If I need anything done again I’ll turn to Jon. Thank you Jon
