    Excellent job done. Fully prepped walls, transparent quote, lovely guy, house left clean and tidy. I had hall stairs and landing painted. Would definitely highly recommend

    Reliable and trustworthy excellent decorator

    We have used Chris twice now to decorate my parents kitchen and on both occasions has done a super job but more importantly he has been reliable, trustworthy and has dealt with my elderly parents with complete respect and understanding. Knowing the job will be done to the highest standard and having a person you can completely trust is very important to us. We will have no problem contacting Chris again should they require any more jobs to be done. Big thumbs up!!

    Excellent painter and decorator and a really good tradesman through and through time keeping excellent, work clean and tidy The finish is perfect left everything spotless when finished Honest reliable and fairly priced pleasure to have in your home I would very highly recommend him to anyone and would give him more work in the future

    I hired Chris to paint my living room, from the very first visit to give a quote, he was very professional, friendly and very helpful, he even gave me great advice on paint types and colours which was really useful The work was completed to an excellent standard.The preparation was done properly, and he protected my floors and furniture and the painting itself was flawless. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. He turned up on time every day, worked hard and he left the house spotless each evening. He finished the job within the time he estimated, and the final cost was exactly as

    Chris did another fantastic job for us. For the third time, this time painting our lounge. He is very professional and conscientious. Took great care with the prep work. This made a big difference to the finish. Hard working and trustworthy.

JLB Home Improvements are a small team of time served decorators with over 16 years’ experience in the industry.


Between us we have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of decorating taking on all interior & exterior projects including all wall coverings from wallpaper to murals to a more bespoke feature walls if required, along with the application of all emulsions, stains, varnishes, water or oil-based finish for all woodwork.


Preparation is the key, and this is where our knowledge and experience along with the correct product choice provides the customer with a flawless finish.


We use a completely dust free sanding system to ensure any mess is kept to an absolute minimum.


We are punctual, clean and tidy and meticulous about what we do and take great pride in our work.
