    Once again Chris has done an outstanding job on painting our bedroom, guest room and living room (+ some other bits here and there). His efficiency, attention to detail, cleanliness and quality of work was yet again 10/10. Chris honestly goes above and beyond for his customers. You won‘t find anyone better than him.

    Painting render, concrete sills and brick lintels

    Chris did some interior painting for us last October and I asked him to come back and repair and paint the render on our house and strip and paint concrete sills and brick lintels once the weather improved. He's just finished the work and it's superb. He takes great pains to prep everything thoroughly and worked really hard even though it was very hot some days. He left everything clean and tidy every evening. He's personable and friendly and I had no hesitation to leave him alone in the house when I went out. Thoroughly recommended.

    Bedroom redecoration

    This is the third time we have used Chris. I have to say without any reservation he is by far the best we have come across. Chris never fails to please, he is a perfectionist always striving to achieve the highest possible finish even if it means he is out of pocket at the end of the day.

JLB Home Improvements are a small team of time served decorators with over 16 years’ experience in the industry.


Between us we have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of decorating taking on all interior & exterior projects including all wall coverings from wallpaper to murals to a more bespoke feature walls if required, along with the application of all emulsions, stains, varnishes, water or oil-based finish for all woodwork.


Preparation is the key, and this is where our knowledge and experience along with the correct product choice provides the customer with a flawless finish.


We use a completely dust free sanding system to ensure any mess is kept to an absolute minimum.


We are punctual, clean and tidy and meticulous about what we do and take great pride in our work.
