    Flawless work

    Chris did some work for us previously and he did such a great job that we had him back to do our upstairs landing, stairs and entrance hall. Once again he has done a great job and the attention to detail is second to none. We wouldn’t use anyone else now.

    Absolutely brilliant

    Chris is absolutely fantastic. Both as a decorator and a human being. He’s been an absolute pleasure to have around the house whilst doing a brilliant job. His attention to detail is awesome and we are delighted with the final result. So much so that we hope to have him back in the coming months. Can’t recommend highly enough!

    I was so pleased with previous work carried out that I asked Chris to quote again. Really good communication around when he could start and how long it would take (which I had last time too). Standard of work was excellent and he was able to point out things I’d not seen previously that required more expertise such as dealing with small cracks. The resulting work really is excellent and I have been pleased to recommend him to friends. He is also clean, tidy and quiet which is often unusual! Thank you again!!

    Well, where to begin☺️ Chris, has been a total professional, from the quote to completion of the job. His attention to detail is outstanding and has given advice and guidance from start to finish. He is punctual and always polite, courteous and respectful. The transformation in our ‘Master bedroom’, is night and day. He even took time to rectify another trade persons incomplete work. His quality and standard of finish is absolutely impeccable and we would highly recommend Chris. We have already requested him to do another project in our home, as we are so pleased.

JLB Home Improvements are a small team of time served decorators with over 16 years’ experience in the industry.


Between us we have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of decorating taking on all interior & exterior projects including all wall coverings from wallpaper to murals to a more bespoke feature walls if required, along with the application of all emulsions, stains, varnishes, water or oil-based finish for all woodwork.


Preparation is the key, and this is where our knowledge and experience along with the correct product choice provides the customer with a flawless finish.


We use a completely dust free sanding system to ensure any mess is kept to an absolute minimum.
