I selected J Highgate from Checkatrade based on their reviews and I couldn't have made a better choice. This was for a ground floor extension, new kitchen and other refurbishment needed to a fairly run-down house we purchased. From the start right throughout the around 10 weeks duration of the works, the entire team were simply superb and a delight to work with. The team were proactive in coming up with ideas for consideration when some re-thinking became necessary at critical parts of the works. The final outcome and quality of work was 10/10. High commendations all round.

I recently hired Justin for a full house refurbishment and I’m extremely pleased with the results. The quality of his workmanship is excellent, with great attention to detail throughout. Communication was clear and consistent, and Justin was always polite, responsive, and easy to work with. He kept the project moving smoothly and was happy to address any questions or small adjustments along the way. Overall, a very professional and reliable service. Justin Highgate and his excellent team of experienced tradespeople converted an unused garage into two rooms - a useful study and utility room. All the work was completed on time and to a high standard. All team members were reliable, professional, tidy and cheerful. Justin is the best supplier that I have known because he communicated so well and responded almost immediately to my calls or messages. He also visited our house regularly to ensure materials were supplied on time and the work was progressing to plan. The project was also delivered below the quoted budget. We will use them again.

Justin and his team bring the perfect mix of experience with a hard working approach. We overcame several unforeseen issues with our house refurb and sometimes you need those cool heads and to work as a team. Justins team we're punctual, considerate of the fact we continued to live in a family house with children / pets and we appreciated their dedication to getting the job done. Being an architect myself and in the industry, I liked the transparency with his cost model and forward planning. I highly recommend them and trust Justin implicitly.

The quote and time frame to do the work were both very competitive. The job was completed inside the time and slightly beliw budget. It was also great that they were able to start virtually straight away as i needed the work done quickly. The whole job was done professionally and to a high standard. Justin and all of his team were always polite and respectful whenever i needed to speak to them. This was mostly to agree finishes as there were no issues with the job.

Justin and team have done a superb job in transforming a dilapidated conservatory and tired kitchen into a great open plan space with separate utility plus creation of upstairs En-suite. Really impressed with the organisation through the whole project making sure it kept on track and on budget. All the team were great to deal with, had helpful suggestions and kept things as tidy as possible. Would certainly highly recommend and have no hesitation in using Justin when embarking on any future projects.
