Jonathan gave us a quote for a bookcase in October 2020 - we accepted that without hesitation and we agreed a date when he’d start work - January 2021. In January I tried to contact him to confirm that he could start work as agreed. . He didn’t respond- (to calls/texts/email) and never got in touch. It would have been fine to just say he couldn’t do the job for whatever reason but not even responding was rather offensive. I was initially worried about his health but could see he was fine on social media. It was a very stressful experience as we were living in a mess- waiting for this work.

Jonathan finished my amazing wardrobes just before lockdown and we couldn’t be happier with them. Such an easy process throughout from getting a quote to completing the job. I would definitely recommend Jonathan - we’ll definitely be using his services again!

Jonathan did a fantastic job building cupboards and shelves which have transformed my front room. I was delighted with the results. He was extremely efficient, professional, tidy and very nice. I would definitely recommend Jonathan and I plan to use him again for future carpentry work.

Jonathan is an exceptional craftsman and the quality of work is to the highest standard. The wardrobes were built exactly to our specifications and we were very happy to have suggestions and input from Jonathan to make them even better. The finished paintwork is flawless, sprayed instead of brushed/rollered. We will definitely be using Jonathan again.

This is the second time we have used J H Carpentry. We had extensive large kitchen pantry cupboards built and also built in wardrobes. Work is of a very high standard and exactly what I asked for. Jonathan is reliable and punctual and works with minimal mess. He was open to my ideas and made a ladder for my cupboards which was over and above what I expected.
