  Service Paid For Was Not Completed

  We booked JG Pest Control because their website said rat control includes proofing. The issue was in our loft, which we disclosed. The first technician inspected the loft, identified gaps, and said wire wool would be placed and shown to us. On the final visit, no proofing was done. The technician stayed five minutes, removed the poison, couldn’t answer questions, and left. We were later told loft proofing isn’t included—never disclosed before payment and contradicted by the technician. Customer service have refused proofing or a refund. Very disappointing.

  Woodworm spraying

  I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! This company is far too expensive!! I was charged TEN times the going rate! They did not do a thorough job. I had to leave a stranger in my house with my keys for 10hours. All oher companies I have subsequently found do not require this amount of time and inform me this is not required therefore they are using non eco friendly products therefore hazardous. I had to chase for a follow up and my formal complaint has been ignored. Customer service were rude and unprofessional particularly lindsey.

  Mice

  We booked this company to deal with mice. We explained on the phone before booking that we had children and we were assured that their products were safe. When the technician arrived he told us he couldn’t lay any traps because they aren’t safe for kids. One hole was filled to justify the trip and for this we were charged £420 inc. VAT. My wife rang to complain and we were fobbed off and put through to customer services which rang out. A second visit was booked for us without asking us if this was convenient. We emailed back to complain and were ignored.

  Tackling wasps in my loft

  Protective gear etc went into loft came out with bin bag apparently containing nest. Advised any left would die off, still actually being invaded 3 months later..

  Mice control

  Called this company to book an appointment and no sooner was it booked I was sent a invoice for the total cost of the job £300 + vat before they'd even stepped over the front door! They also couldnt guarantee an acceptable appointment time of less than a 6 hr wait. I would definately not be using this company again.
