Asked them to complete rat infestation in loft. Worked for approx 10 mins. Placed some poison sachets in loft. Refused to do internal house check for holes, to then fill if found, which which was sold by Sales. Confirmed that it does not form part of the service, at all. The charge £400 for putting some poison in the house, which you could do yourself, for approx £20. This is a SCAM and they are also taking payments via tokenisation. This is not legal. Job location: GU35Be very cautious of the positive reviews. Strongly recommend you look at the negative reviews, which shows a worrying trend of complete lack of promised service, over-charging and Health & Safety concerns. • Paid 50% upfront (£195) for Rat Control - after being told the service included an internal inspection and internal proofing, during the 1st visit. • Technician arrived, said he “doesn’t know why Sales tell customers that” and refused to do the work I’d been sold. • He also did not wear gloves, when handling the poison, after telling me 2 x sachets would ‘’kill a horse’’. • After emailin3.33 Just dont use them

JG Pest Control attended my property last year to treat flies and ladybirds. They assured me that if the pests returned, they would come back to spray again. The initial treatment worked temporarily, but the pests reappeared after about 6 months. I reluctantly accepted their statement that any guarantee was only 4 months & paid for a second treatment. When the issue returned again just before the 4-month mark from the second visit, I emailed them on 9 February No reply came, so I chased them. They're refusing to come back when I still have 2 more visits, and I still have mice. They're refusing to refund me as well, despite them coming in knowing I still had mice and still taking everything away. This was £330, they've done NOTHING. Job location: B13We booked JG Pest Control because their website said rat control includes proofing. The issue was in our loft, which we disclosed. The first technician inspected the loft, identified gaps, and said wire wool would be placed and shown to us. On the final visit, no proofing was done. The technician stayed five minutes, removed the poison, couldn’t answer questions, and left. We were later told loft proofing isn’t included—never disclosed before payment and contradicted by the technician. Customer service have refused proofing or a refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! This company is far too expensive!! I was charged TEN times the going rate! They did not do a thorough job. I had to leave a stranger in my house with my keys for 10hours. All oher companies I have subsequently found do not require this amount of time and inform me this is not required therefore they are using non eco friendly products therefore hazardous. I had to chase for a follow up and my formal complaint has been ignored. Customer service were rude and unprofessional particularly lindsey.Verified reviewerJob location: SS2
