  Dismantling & rebuilding of a wall

  The wall at the front of our property was being pitched forward thanks to a stubborn shrub. I requested a quote and was given 2 options to resolve the issue. I chose to have the wall dismantled and rebuilt using the original bricks. The end result looks authentic and original, the skill to get it this way cannot be underestimated. I hope the before and after photos illustrate this better than I am at explaining it. I would have no hesitation in recommending J Field Construction. The knowledge and skill they impart is backed up by the quality and craftsmanship of the work. Fantastic job.

  Underpinning & rendering for extension

  We found J Field Construction after the previous (surveyor-recommended) contractor let us down numerous times. From the start, Jon and his team were incredibly professional and helpful - ensuring all the correct paperwork was in place, ensuring we understood exactly what was going on and were happy with any change of plan, and of course completing the job to a high standard. Various unexpected challenges arose, but each time Jon communicated clearly, advised us on our options, and supported our choices. We would recommend Jon & his team (who were always on time, friendly & tidy) to anyone.

  Rebuild air intake shelter

  Jon visited the property to assess the cause of a leak in the basement following heavy rains. We discussed a possible solution and the written quote clearly stated what was being carried out. The work involved removing and rebuilding brickwork to include air bricks for the basement. Tilting the existing concrete slab away from the house and sealing with lead flashing. Albeit a relatively small job it has been completed to a very high standard I’m very pleased with how it now looks. Jon & Martin arrived on time, both friendly and clearly passionate about their craft. Highly recommended.

  2 Storey Extension

  We are now in the final throes of a two storey extension and could not be happier. Even when faced with issues, we get comprehensive reports and solutions bought forward so we can all agree. All the people on site are clean, tidy and knowledgable and happy to explain every step. I would 100% recomment Jon and his team for small and large work! A*
