  Old front door lock

  I thought it was the Chubb lock that had jammed but Joe quickly realised it was the door handle spindle that was at fault. Having arrived in really good time and at short notice, he efficiently adjusted and made to fit a new spindle. Perfect. A clean and tidy job and charged a very fair price. I would definitely recommend him and I have put his phone number in my phone should I need him again…or to recommend him. Thanks Joe.

  Front and back doors were difficult to open and needed fixing

  So happy to have found Joe. A job that has been bugging us for months we finally decided to sort. Joe was kind, professional and super helpful. A rare find. Fixed the doors there and then and didn't charge ridiculous prices. I really appreciate his honesty and approach. Will be using him more, and recommending him to friends and family in Colchester.

  Replacement of front door lock

  My mother in law had her front door lock changed by JE Horner Building Services / Locksmiths, and she said the service was excellent. He arrived on time, and was professional and friendly, completing the job quickly and efficiently. The new lock works perfectly, and the price was fair with no hidden costs. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a reliable locksmith.
