    Avoid hiring Jeb Potter

    Work began on 01/04/25. A 2 week project became a disruptive, inconsistent experience stretching into May. On 02/05/25, we formally asked him to stop. Quality & Install Issues: Loose wall panels. Unstable basin and windowsill affecting sealant and finishes. Skirting boards missing, poorly cut, or mismatched. Isolator switch fitting inside the bathroom, later moved outside the bathroom by an electrician. Extractor fan, missing full ducting and exposing dust/insulation. Even after full payment, he came to our house uninvited and became confrontational,

    General building work

    Very friendly and professional. I have used JEBS on and off over a few years now, slowly doing up my house. The property needed renovating and Jeb helped me to plan what order to work through it all. It was explained to me that it was best to start with electrics and plumbing and then build from there. To date Jeb and his team have carried out a partial re wire, plumbing/heating, general building work and plastering. Although some of the tasks haven’t always gone to plan, together we have adapted and overcome the obstacles both financially and aesthetically (We’ve all seen on grand designs)

    Avoid at All Costs – Incompetent and Dangerous Work

    Avoid at all costs. Jeb and his team delivered the worst work of our renovation. A full rewire was left incomplete, dangerous, and messy. Sockets were loose, chases proud, and the fuse box had exposed live parts—an extreme safety risk. He ignored plans, removed our TV aerial without permission, and constantly delayed. We had to chase him for weeks for certification. Unprofessional, careless, and unsafe. Do not let this electrician near your home.

    Thank you for your review. We have tried contacting you to discuss this allegation. We still have the drawings for the electrical design and the installation was followed to that. The TV Ariel was replaced when requested. I look forwards to hearing from you.

    Fuse board tripping

    Replaced light fittings

    Jeb carried out extensive renovations, including a full rewire, 2 years ago. We recently became aware of an issue with the sealed unit LED downlights as they started to fail within the manufacturers warranty (34 of them). We explained the issue to Jeb, who took it up with the Wholesaler. Basically all 34 downlights were replaced with new lights from the Manufacturer at no charge to ourselves. No fuss, straightforward understanding of warranty issue and prompt resolution. 10/10
