Jonathan thoroughly researched the project on our behalf, thoroughly prepared the door (and cleaned the brass fixtures til they gleamed) and the result is excellent, of course. He is in addition a thoroughly nice person to have in the property and we hope he may be available for future projects.

Jonathan did a great job painting and decorating my feature wall fireplace. I'm very pleased with the quality of work and he's a professional and lovely guy to have around. I'd be more than happy for him to come back and do more work around the house if he is available.

Jonathan listened and understood our brief regarding the redecoration of a rental property. He was proactive from the start, making suggestions regarding paint choice to provide a hardwearing, long lasting treatment to walls and woodwork. His preparation was excellent, realising that the secret to a first class finish starts with fastidious preparation. His attention to detail and cleanliness is beyond anything I have encountered previously. If you are after a cheap job, don't bother with Jonathan, if you want a top quality, value for money job that will last and last, give him a call.

This is the second job we engaged with JDV Decorating. I remain confidant; this company will be my first choice for any future work I will require at my home.

I asked Jonathan for advice and quote for repaint of sitting room. I had several ideas re colours and he suggested which might be suitable. He also researched ideas to ‘disguise’ an awful fireplace. He provided samples of paint to test. The job took a couple of weeks-so I was glad I was able to use another room-but the finished room was perfect. Everything was protected and covered. No mess was left. He moved a wall cupboard and put up a new light fixture even though it wasn’t originally planned. He added a fair price for extra work. He put all the fixtures and furniture back.
