  Promptly came to give a quote which was very acceptable. Agreed dates to complete work, turned up on time for each visit. Work completed very satisfactorily, ensured that area was cleaned before leaving and took all rubbish with him. Would highly recommend.

  Plastering

  Jon installed a membrane to 3 external walls, then plaster boarded, before applying plaster to 3 walls as well as ceilings. He also pulled up old floorboards before spraying joists with 5 star wood treatment. The plastering is as smooth as can be. He was also very punctual and sociable, keeping me informed of what he was doing as the work progressed.

  Masterful damp proofing / replastering using material suitable for a stone property

  Jon came previously to do a damp survey of the property, and identified a few areas of concern. At the time, we could only afford to do the most important bit. Despite being busy for several moths, Jon fitted us in to chisel out / tank / replaster a damp patch on an external wall. What I really appreciated was that Jon was conscientious that the property is stone, so needs breathable material. The work was done to a masterful quality, leaving no mess. Communication was great, and cost was very fair. Definitely going to ask Jon back to finish the rest of the plastering upstairs!

  John did plastering upstairs for us first, then came back to advise on downstairs - from battoning the chimney, through slurry to plasterboarding (which we did to cut the costs), he has shown us and advised what to do, while he finished it off with a beautiful layer of skim!
