  Landscaping contractor – patio installation, groundworks and waste removal.

  Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The landscaping work was started but not completed, leaving the project unfinished. A dispute then arose regarding payment. The contractor arranged a skip as part of the works. The skip hire company has confirmed that no payment has been made for the skip and that it will not be collected until payment is received. I was then asked to pay for the skip myself and to empty it before it could be collected, despite not arranging the skip hire. The skip remains on my driveway, leaving the matter unresolved.   Base for Summer House 24 x 10 ft

  Work was not carried out as discussed. No soil was dug or rotivated to clear and level site. Only trenches dug for sleepers. Membrane liner put directly on soil and then hardcore put on top. Only about 1.5 inches of hardcore in deepest part and some of the liner left completely bare (approx 1/4 base) before concrete added. This was not what I was expecting and how the job was explained to me by the owner. I am now worried the base will crack over time.

  Removal of old decking and replacing with gravel & resin

  Very pleased with the work completed. Communication was excellent throughout, arrived on time, and everything was completed exactly as discussed. He kept me updated during the work and was professional, respectful and easy to deal with throughout. The finished result has completely improved the area and the quality of the work is very good. He also went above and beyond with additional work that wasn’t originally expected, without making an issue of it. The area was left tidy and all works were completed quickly and efficiently. Overall a very positive experience
