  Joe was excellent form the initial contact through to completion of the job. Stayed on track with the timeline and cost. We had odd sized doors due to being an old bungalow, but Joe found a solution. Very professional, good price for quality work and clear communication 👍

  Replacing old doors and fittings with new.

  Joe was very helpful and friendly.he did a really good job with excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Whenever there was a decision to be made he explained the options clearly. He was also punctual and tidy and left everything clean and neat at the end of each day. We would happily recommend him.

  Great work, friendly and efficient service

  Joe was friendly, helpful, timely, tidy and adapted easily to a few extras I asked him to do. He fitted 8 x 1930s doors with original fittings, and changed a couple of the door surrounds so we have perfectly fitted doors. Would definitely recommend and use again.

  Professional, Polite, Friendly, Gets it Right

  Joe built a beautiful set of bespoke cabinets and shelves for us. The work was carried out on time and according to quote. He's an excellent carpenter. We were impressed by how friendly he was, and that he had a real passion for getting us exactly what we wanted. He came to our house and talked through the ideas with us to come up with exactly the right design. He ordered the right materials. He was tidy, clearing up the work space at the end of every day. Everything was absolutely as we could wish. Can't recommend highly enough.

  hanging 11 new internal doors at short notice

  Joe came and viewed the job, offered a competitive price and was able to start and finish the work within the requested time frame (which was quite short notice!). Excellent workmanship, turned up on time and a very nice guy to boot. Thoroughly recommend Joe from JD Carpentry.
