    John contacted me immediately after my request. He came to view and price the job and gave advice where needed. We arranged a date and he contacted me to confirm. I just left him to it on the day. Everywhere was clean and tidy both during and after the work which was finished to perfection! John was professional throughout and a really chatty, pleasant guy. No hesitation in recommending him and will definitely be using him again

    This was our first time using the check a trader and the company we got recommend was great. John was a genuinely nice guy who did everything we asked and more, the finishing touches were spot on. The staircase was absolutely stunning. Wow. Massive Thank you John.

    John replied to the job request within about 30 minutes and offered to do the work the next morning even though that was a Saturday. He did a great job, managing to move heavy doors on his own. Friendly guy, even did a second door for us too. Recommended. Thank you!

    If you want something done!

    So many handymen, carpenters, installers, and plumbers waste your time. They are hard to reach, and when you finally get through, they set a time and then never show up. That was not the case with John. I asked him to do my kitchen, and he came the very next day to give advice. We agreed on a date to start once my dishwasher and kitchen drawers arrived. Unlike many tradespeople I’ve dealt with in Fife, he arrived exactly when he said he would and completed everything to a high standard. He not only carried out the agreed work but also gave helpful advice, fixed my water pressure, and repaire

At JC Joinery Services we endeavour to make our client's home improvements as fuss free as possible, with a friendly and helpful atmosphere. We undertake all aspects of work, from fixing a sticky door or the addition of a new extension to your home.

I served my joinery apprenticeship with Peter Kelly & RG homes small companies that gave me a great understanding of the complete building process.

Over the years, I have built up a working relationship with other tradesmen including roofers, builders, decorators, plumbers, tilers, plasterers and electricians. I also enjoy a good working relationship with firms of Architects and Structural Engineers. As a result, you have the assurance your project however large or small will be completed with efficiency and professionalism.


Home improvements can feel like a major step, we understand that. Our promise is to endeavour to make a pleasurable fuss free experience not an upheaval.

I have in my career diversified away from joinery and have managed sites for some of the UK's biggest house builders having overall control and overseeing the build of in excess of 1000 properties.

JC Joinery is built on hard work, fair dealings with clients and other trades as well as our suppliers and other contractors. Above all maintaining our good name within the sector.
