James was extremely helpful to go to a property we are hoping to purchase and check the electrics for us and advise us on what was required and subsequently returned and fitted new consumer unit with surge protection device to make it safe.

I had a problem with a dimmer switch that wasn’t working and a circuit (my kitchen/diner lighting) that kept cutting out. James Walton, who runs JBW provided a prompt, polite, efficient service at a very reasonable price and solved my problem. I would definitely use JBW again and recommend them very highly indeed.

It’s always a risk to have work done from someone that you don’t know or hasn’t been recommended. However, James responded promptly to my initial message, he gave an estimate, but before fitting came back to double check everything. Arranged for the work to be done over two days including a Saturday. James turned up on time, early on the second day. Work completed on time and all was left clean and tidy. All electrics worked as they should. James was easy to work with and I will now use him as my electrician of choice for any other work needs doing.

Had a boiler service and was told the boiler wasn’t on a RCD, put the job on here yesterday 26/01/25 and James messaged me about availability today 27/01/26. Booked him in and jobs completed. Quick and efficient and easy to work with. Now have peace of mind.
