Our chimney pot was dislodged during the last storm, and due to the urgency of getting it fixed (if it had come down off the chimney it could have come through our skylight and caused a lot of damage) JBS came out and fixed the problem the same day but for 8 hours work, 2 buckets of cement and removal of bags of rubble they wanted to charge us £3500 after I complained bitterly they reduced it to £2500 - we are both well over 80 and are on pension credit. Needless to say we won't be using them again.

My experience was excellent, from time keeping to explaining in detail what was needed to be done.

Replacement of lead flashing on roof. The company was highly responsive and immediately provided me with a very reasonable accurate quote based on photos I sent. The team were really helpful, provided sound advise before and on the job they were reliable and completed the job with ease. The outcome was a professional service, a fair price and quality workmanship. I would highly recommend this company based on my experience, many thanks to James and his team.

This company visited and accepted the job the same day I posted it up. They scheduled to do the work the same week, but due to weather they delayed for 3 working days. They then showed up with the wrong ladder even though they had already visited the site. I was assured the correct ladder would be found and the work would be carried out the following day. Instead, all further communication attempts by me were ignored and when I called them, they muted me and hung up. Hence the rating, just be consistent & professional and if you suddenly cannot carry out the work, just say so.

Excellent service from James and team. It was clear that they weren't there to "pull as fast one" so that made me comfortable to listen to his advice on what needed doing. All work was carried efficiently and with minimal mess.
