  Joni and his team completely redesigned and rebuilt our front basement and street level entry ways. They underpinned walls, dug down so we could have a full-height door, rebuilt two sets of steps, and repaved everything. They were organised, approachable, knowledgeable, tidy, and professional. We ended up asking Joni to consult on lots of other things while he was there as a result—from insulation to repointing to damp. We are the 6th house he’s worked on on our street because everyone keeps recommending him. His prices were very transparent and reasonable. He sorted out everything we needed.

  Removal of wall to open up kitchen / dining room

  Joni was fair and honest with the quote he gave us and stayed true to it. He gave advice on next steps in the planning process, which, as first time applicants for building control, was helpful and kind. He always arrived on time, whether that was to quote, pre-visit, or carry out work. He communicated well with us. He and his team were excellent during the week of the works. They kept the home clean and tidy as possible and kept us informed as the project developed. The end product has made a difference to our property and we are so happy we chose Joni and will use again in future.

  VERY impressed with our experience with JBS. Jon and his team worked tirelessly (and with endless patience!) to bring our new side return, kitchen and bathroom dreams to life. Jon had a real attention to detail in his project management and building skill set. Honest, open and helpful communication throughout - we felt very much part of the process and included in all discussions. Felt very comfortable having the friendly, warm and approachable team in our house for several weeks. JBS came highly recommended from several neighbours and we’re thrilled with our new home!

  Excellent work

  Brilliant to work with. Not only did they carry out the work needed, but also made some great suggestions we hadn't thought of and ended up going with. Good price, punctual with great communication, and the invoice matched the estimate despite discovering some "surprises left by the previous builders. Will definitely be using again for the next round of work.

  Split a large bedroom into 2 separate rooms.

  Joni was asked to split a large bedroom into 2 smaller ones to create some private space for both children. He provided a competitive quotation and clearly coming aged and understood the need, and offered different options which we were grateful for. They arrive promptly on the first day, covered all carpets to ensure nothing was damaged whilst they worked, and kept the working space and the rest of the property clean and tidy throughout. I would thoroughly recommend Joni and the whole of his team, their work is of a high standard and the team are very sociable and pleasant to have around.

  Joni and his team were brilliant the whole way through our project. We went for Joni because of how many questions and how through he was when he came and gave us a quote. This continued throughout the project but Joni always gave us a few options to a problem or work. When we suddenly needed to cut out some ceiling Joni had the problem solved within an hour of finding it. Joni said all the work would take 3-4 weeks and he got it done in 3 weeks one day. Couldn’t recommend Joni enough and wouldn’t bother getting quotes from elsewhere if we need work done in the future
