We moved into a new home that used to be a rental property. There was longstanding dampness issues. They came on short notice to provide a quote during the exchange process and completed the work after exchange. Despite the very rainy spring we haven't had any issues and the work is guaranteed for 10-20 years.

JB Damp Proofing provided silicone injections across the walls of our downstairs flat. The work was fast and done without fuss. When we queried something on our initial quote John came back the next day and instantly found a work-around for the issue. I would recommend this company and we will use them again if we ever have a damp issue in the future.

The jobs: apply appropriate damp proofing treatments to: 1. The area around the washing machine 2. The ground level area to the side of the bay window to the front of the original construction 3. The ground level area under the bay window to the front of a 20 year-old extension 4. Investigation of the airbricks to the back of the house The job was estimated at 5 days but took 4 owing to the absence of any work associated with 4 above. John and his team completed the work in accordance with the quote. They were easy to work with, prompt and tidy. Communication has been good and John has given useful advice on aftercare. Its too soon to say if the treatment has been effective, but the workmanship looks good so at this stage see no reason to doubt it. The work is covered by an insurance-based guarantee which provides peace of mind.

The work was carried out carefully and care was taken to ensure that there was minimal mess. I was very pleased with how clean and tidy the house was! They were efficient and courteous and work was completed on time. Would definitely recommend and use again if required.
