    Repair to drainage leak under Kitchen sink.

    Rang me within minutes of putting job on Checkatrade. arrived within 2 hours. Did a good job quick and efficient, My son did have to assist in part of repair. Would use again but check price before agreeing. A bit excessive. I learnt to ask for more info in future.

    Removal and replacement of 5 old radiators and thermostats.

    Excellent workmanship. John advised on the appropriate size radiators to replace the old imperial size radiators. The work included fitting all new radiators, brackets, thermostats/the additional pipework, removal/replacement of floorboards and adding Sentinel X100 central heating Inhibitor. John and son Ash were accommodating to our needs and timescales. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

    Regarding workmanship ,fixing the problems,courteous,tidiness,all fine One suggestion: It would be helpful to know of the call out fee prior to the job being done .Call out fees are expensive plus the cost of doing the job and extra time after the initial hour .When cash is preferred not everyone has this amount of money in the house and knowing before saves any embarrassment on both sides .This I will always ask in future prior to agreeing to a job being done

    Thanks for your review. You called us saying you had a leak under your bath. We attended your property, and investigated the report of the leak. We found no leaks under the bath, but identified a leak on a radiator valve in an adjacent room. We then gave you an quote to replace it, which was £217.00 + vat, which is our standard charge for two hours plus the parts needed to complete the job. So in total our quote was £260.40. You didn’t want to go ahead with the work, so we didn’t do it. To investigate the leak in the first place, you were charged our standard rate of £120.00 + vat for the call-out + 1st hour and we were there for around half an hour. We never met your mum, we dealt with you the whole way through, from initial phone call, to doing the job, and you paid the bill. Thanks
