Jane has done an amazing job for us. This was a complicated repair on both sides of a fabric recliner sofa where the original fabric between the seat cushions and footrests had frayed badly. Jane spent a long time on her initial visit discussing various potential solutions and then suggesting a very fair price. She took the footrests away to start the job in her workshop. She communicated well with us at all stages. My upholstery and furniture restoration company was founded 12 years ago and I have ran my own businesses for over 40 years.
My previous trades were painting & decorating, tiling and conversion work.
I have a very good eye for colour coordination. I design and deal in a very professional way with my customers.
I have always been conscientious of turning up on the day, and on time. I am more than happy to discuss at length your needs and the best way to reach the results you are looking for.
I am afraid that due to the size of my workshop and the upholstery side of my business growing, I have decided to restrict the size of furniture restoration that I can have in my workshop. This is mainly aimed at tables and 3-seater sofas, I will do small 2-seater sofas in size and quantity.
This does not mean I'm stopping completely on tables so please don't hesitate to call me so that we can discuss it.

I carry out repairs on your furniture from a loose leg to what looks beyond repair in my workshop. If you need your sofa or chair seats re stuffed this can be done at your home saving you cost on taking away or buying a new one when not needed.
DISMANTLING FURNITURE
If you need your sofa or chair dismantled either the arms or frame because they won’t fit through the door in to another space I am more than happy to carry out this work. It’s not always possible on some furniture due to their construction but most can this includes putting it back together
Happy to restore from book ends to boxes also specialise in painting furniture and as a painter for 30 years I can guarantee a quality finish in whatever style you want. Again, all ages of furniture undertaken. specialising in spray painting. This includes metal work of all kinds. from collectables to small bikes etc.
All quotes are free, and you are under no obligation. I also do crackle craze finish, shabby chic and restoration of antique furniture. Including all repairs to brown furniture and any other style furniture. please don’t hesitate to ask about any other type of work you are interested in me looking at as I am versatile.
