James and his team cleared the moss from our roof. This revealed a major problem with a section of broken tiles, rotten rafters, fascia boards and soffits, which were replaced. He also painted our garden room and carried out other minor repairs. All work was carried out to his usual high standard and everything was left clean and tidy.

James and his team replaced our roof and roofline, arranged the installation of new windows and painted the exterior of the house. We were very pleased with the work and would wholeheartedly recommend James Knott and Sons to others.

Attention to detail is outstanding

James was recommended to us to replace the flat roof on our porch extension and over our bay window. From his initial visit to provide us with an estimate to his completion of the work - on schedule and on budget - James was really easy to deal with. He provided wise advice at the planning stage, and gave clear answers to any questions we had throughout the process. James did a thorough and professional job and we are very happy with the results. At the end of the process, all rubbish was carefully disposed of. James and his 2 workers were unfailingly polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

James and team were excellent, he identified the problem and shared pictures to help us understand and agree course of action. Additional optional work was requested by us (securing loose ridge tiles) because scaffolding when up made it good sense to do so. He also capped our chimneys. Very happy customer!

Contacted James Knott regarding water coming through the cloakroom ceiling . He came within 30mins.and on checking the flat roof above he advised that the recent freak weather had caused excess debris to be washed down from the main roof causing the down pipe to become blocked and resulting in the excess water to collect. It was resolved in a very quick time and no damage was done.
