  Brilliant bricklayer with very good communication! The job was completed to a high standard and very professionally. Very happy and would recommend to anyone no matter what size the job is!

  Good bricklayer, poor communication

  First used James in 2023 and left a highly positive review, sadly the experience this time was much less positive. The actual work done was good, his brickwork cannot be faulted but its clear that James is much more suited to smaller brickwork jobs than larger more complex extensions. He was unable to provide the agreed workers and as a result the job has taken twice as long. Numerous issues with punctuality and timekeeping but the main one was communication, James can be very difficult to speak to and is not always truthful which makes it very difficult to resolve issues and move forward

  Rebuilding brick wall destroyed by a car

  If you’re looking for someone who will give you a fair quote, be easily contactable, will turn up exactly when he says he will and do the job to a really high standard then stop looking, you’ve found him! I couldn’t be happier with the service from James. He worked so hard and took so much care and pride over the job. It was only a relatively small job and other bricklayers had messed me about so much, but James was totally different; he was reliable, professional and so nice as well. I’m so pleased with the finished wall, it looks perfect! He’s a gem, would recommend him to anyone!
