I was very impressed with Jake, the exterior paint work of the house was excellent . He did a very neat and tidy job. He was very reliable, polite and friendly as was his colleague, George. I would highly recommend Jake.

Jake took on the epic task of repainting the entire exterior woodwork of our long-neglected house. The job demanded serious TLC – think years of weathering, flaking paint, rotting sills, and plenty of filler and putty. It was far from a quick freshen-up, but Jake tackled it all with care, skill, and good humour. Through record-breaking July heat (and the odd spell of rain), he worked with patience, precision, and a quiet determination. No shortcuts – just solid, honest work and real pride in the result. A true professional, and a pleasure to have around. Highly recommended.

quote given an agreed date given. 3 days before start Jake cancels giving new date two weeks later. Accept new date and the evening before start cancels again. Shockingly unprofessional.

Jake carried out external and internal painting to a high standard, he worked consistently and efficiently, and the job was completed on time. He did not waste time on his mobile, nor did he disappear for long breaks. He was always pleasant and completed the works with minimal disruption. We were very happy with the result.

Jake was great from the speedy quote to the end of the project. He had to deal with my moving furniture room by room and an indoor cat that was extremely curious and who was also being moved from room to room depending on the schedule. My house is over a hundred years old and hasn't been redecorated for a very long time. Not only was he redecorating but having to fill part of the wood and plasterwork, and deal with issues like mildew and stains caused by leaks from nextdoor. He was so patient and even added extra work that cropped up during the project. I can't recommend him enough.
