    Wood flooring

    We had a problem with an engineered wood floor which was creaking. Dean was able to find the root of the problem and came up with a solution to fix it. Very knowledgeable and gave good advice. Highly recommend.

    Amazing refurbishment work

    I can’t speak highly enough of Dean. I needed some refurbishment work done on a solid oak front door, he was able to complete the structural work to a very high standard, and then fully restored the door to my request (including removing 20 years worth of dark brown varnish). He returned twice of his own accord because he wasn’t completely happy with the result even though I was. End product looks like a brand new door! He really did go above and beyond and I will definitely use him again. He is also very responsive to messages and left absolutely no mess-bonus!!!

    Job well done- efficient and honest.

    Great guys, great work, honest and trustworthy. They came to quote and did so fairly, not only giving great advice but also advising us on options on how we could solve the issues we had. On the day, they turned up on time, did the job efficiently and did all that was quoted for and cleaned up. I would recommend and use this company for anyone looking for a decent, honest and efficient service.

    Very challenging flooring problem

    My flooring outside my front door had become very dangerous. Dean and his team went out of their way to repair,remedy and solve my urgent problem. I was very impressed with their exemplary service. If you want a highly professional company for your needs I have no hesitation in recommending IRG.

    Professional, fast for a very reasonable price

    Dean did an amazing job levelling our floors and laying new flooring on the ground floor of our old house. He was really professional and made sure it was all finished as close to perfect as could be. He threw in a load of extras for us as well. Really great to deal with and super fast working too. Highly recommend.

    Considerate carpenter who cares about his customers' needs and the quality of his work.

    From the start I was impressed by the professional approach Dean brought to the project. It was a small one with great significance for us: a strong stair rail in an old cottage which would enable the owner to return home from hospital after hip surgery. Dean spent time on the phone discussing what would be needed, later advising on a reasonable supplier, doing an estimate and the actual work in an agreed timeframe. I would recommend Dean and Gary unreservedly.
