  Fitting kitchen worktops

  A big thank you to Danny at inspired by design, Danny worked so hard & did an amazing job fitting our kitchen worktops which proved to be very difficult & time consuming as every wall was out & uneven by a huge margin & access to the kitchen area was limited but this didn’t faze Danny who worked on to the early evening to get the job finished, we can’t thank him enough. We would thoroughly recommend Danny and the team at inspired by design who keep us informed & updated from start to finish. Brillant!!

  Design/building fitted bedroom wardrobes

  Danny came and looked at the space for fitted wardrobes, asked me about the look and storage I wanted and designed the perfect combination of hanging space and shelves for me. He and Jim then built them with no problems and cleaning up as they went. Danny even came back twice to remove and rehang the doors to make painting them easier for me. They were both highly skilled, completely reliable and lovely people to have in my house. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

  Garage Conversion to living accommodation, & refurbishment of 3 bedrooms updating insulation

  Excellent workmanship throughout & we were extremely pleased with the results. Danny liaised with building control avoiding any compliance issues. He also dealt with suppliers to ensure materials were available when required. He was able to accommodate minor changes to the work, finding the most inexpensive ‘work arounds’ for unexpected issues. Danny’s team were friendly, polite and a pleasure to have on site (almost part of the family). When Jim’s on site you may need to stock up on tea & sugar !

  Loft conversion and kitchen refit.

  All work carried out to very high standard, if any issues developed they were dealt with and sorted quickly. Danny, Jim and the whole team were a pleasure to have around the house: they were highly knowledgeable about all aspects of the building work and were happy to offer advise when needed on any areas of the project. Would happily use them again for any other work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

  Remove existing shelving and replace with new units including electrics

  Danny and Jim did an excellent job from start to finish on the job they carried out for us. Danny initially spent time with us to discuss the design and gave his ideas on what would and wouldn't work or look great. He and Jim then did a great job removing the old built in shelving unit and replacing it with the new design, including wiring in all new electrics through a fused spur. When it was finsihed they found a small error they had made and came straight back in to solve it without any delays or quibbles. We would be keen to recommend and use Inspired by Design again in the future.

  Large building project inc. kitchen and bathroom

  Danny undertook a large project for us which included a first floor extension with extensive roof work and new bathroom, as well as ground floor refiguring with new fitted kitchen and flooring throughout. The work was excellent and Danny and his team were always a pleasure to have around. Polite, professional and considerate. Would highly recommend Inspired by Design.
