  Sean has done a great job all the work was carried out to a high standard his preparation was extremely thorough which left the walls too a very smooth surface. Once they were painted the rooms were pristine. Everything was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Sean was very polite and trustworthy and kept us fully informed as he carried out the work - highly recommend.

  Decoration work carried out on exterior.

  Sean came to view the property and within a couple of days provided us with a detailed, competitive quotation. Our three bed semi was in very poor condition and all the masonry and woodwork had been neglected for many years. We found Sean as very throrough throughout from the extensive preparation to tthe paintwork. He was very polite, courteous and ensured to clean and tidy up every evening before he left. Sean completed on schedule and the standard of his work was excellent. We are extremely happy with the service from beginning to end. We have no hesitation in recommending Sean.

  External Decorations to Joinery and weather boarding

  Steer clear of this contractor. The work was terrible. First of he tried to recommend some water based paint he had used previously, what complete rubbish. He never washed down or removed any of the dirt to existing joinery, his prep was terrible. He tried three times that he had finished the painting, but each time he had missed areas of it. He would turn up at 10am and leave at 3.00pm. I brought the paint for him, which was an oil based paint, and he kept thinning the paint so much, that the paint lost its sheen. My neighbour has just reported, he has found paint splashes over his car!

  There is some confusion on my part as to why The Homeowner has decided to leave such an untruthful review containing fabricated comments, two months after the work was completed at the end of April to post it. To give my customers piece of mind I do not request any payments for either Labour or Paint & Materials upfront. This way customers have piece of mind that payment is made on completion once they are completely happy with the quality of the work carried out. In this instance the Homeowner insisted on paying for the paint of his choice upfront, I informed him it was not one I would recommend for the finish he was after ( being in the industry for 30 years ) but he seemed to know best and the paint he chose was used as he requested. The labour cost was agreed to be paid on completion. Once completed he assessed the work carried out, was happy with the result and paid without any discrepancies. If any prospective customers are reading this review please kindly refer to my pretty consistent feedback over the years.

  External redecoration of a Victorian fisherman’s cottage

  Excellent Sean.Very pleased with result in Cornish Cream. Sean is a very skilled painter who has transformed a pretty run down end of terrace in Woodlawn St. I would highly recommend Sean and shall re-hire Sean to work on house interior next spring.
