Started prompt on Monday morning, I teed off as normal, showed them where the tea and coffee was and by the end of the week, it was all done and dust, really impressed with his workmanship and involved me in every detail along the way. Highly recommend.

Brilliant job, Ian is a true perfectionist in his craft and did a beautiful job hanging 5 x internal doors. Always leaving everything hoovered, clean and tidy at the end of each day. So helpful and knowledgeable too on other home improvement projects I am considering. Highly recommend.

I was very fortunate to engage Ian Douglas for the renovation of my lounge. Removal of a 1970's sandstone fireplace, sandstone bar, building new chimney breast, laying 80 square metes of hardwood flooring, building a bespoke staircase (which is outstanding, supply and fitting of 10 new doors and boxing in the electrical box. Excellent work. Ian put me in contact with a first class plasterer, Marty Douglas. Also a first class electrical contractor, Trevor Dawson. I would recommend Ian Douglas to anyone who wants quality work with dates being kept on schedule. Outstanding over a few months.

Ian is a true master of joinery and has created a stunning new staircase for me in solid oak with amazing modern glass panels. His craftsmanship is impeccable, and his attention to detail is absolutely outstanding. On top of that, he’s a genuinely nice person, making the whole process a pleasure from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Ian was great from initial contact through to completion of the refurbishment of our staircase. We are so happy with everything, we needed help and advice on exactly what would work and Ians guidance and expertise made us feel confident that the job would go smoothly. Ian fitted 14 doors for us. Really excellent job in every way. Extremely heavy doors had to be cut to size (cm v inches doors v frames). Punctual, very tidy, friendly. Kept us informed of progress, offered options where appropriate, fantastic final job (doors all close with no movement, stay open without swinging wide open or shut). Hugely enhanced the look of the house. Absolutely delighted. Trying to think of other things we can get Ian to come and do for us!
