I had a potentially major power outage, and they were the first people to respond on CheckaTrade and came out very quickly. They resolved the problem very efficiently and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had a simple but urgent job (removal of wall lights) and HRHislop provided a great service. They provided a clear quote and were able to come out within a couple of days. The electricians who came to the house were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I was extremely happy with the service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again - in fact they are already booked in for the next job I need doing.

Two lovely electricians turned up on time. 3 sockets not working. Found that a person previously checking wall insulation had forgotten to turn a fused spur on. Guys checked that sockets were working and went on their merry way.

The team were considerate and communicated what they were doing at each stage of the job. Happy with the completed work and would recommend to others - I plan to use their services again for other upcoming projects.

The tradesmen were polite, punctual, and got on with the task. They gave me good advice about what unit to buy, as I had the wrong one. And they had to find an alternative outlet to soffits as they were too small and contained asbestos! So they drilled through the concrete wall. They did a much better job than I could have done. We are happy with this improvement to the house

I wanted a light switch installed for my bathroom to replace a broken pull cord. I received a few quotes for the job and HRHislop gave an excellent price. They came within a few days and installed the switch. Very happy with the result. No more bringing a lamp in at night.
