Horton Builders have just completed a complete refurbishment of the outside of my house, including applying external insulation, finished off with a silicone render. Colin Wheeler oversaw a full team of craftsmen, every one of whom (including their electrician, plumber and outside scaffolding firm) took a pride in their work, delivered a quality result and were a pleasure to have around. I felt that the price was fair. I will use them in the future for building work, and I recommend them to others.

Very good experience using Horton Builders. They were accommodating with delays on our side due to extended survey work, and once started, completed the work within the time frame set. The initial job changed and evolved once it had been started, and we were involved in decisions throughout with the quote being adjusted accordingly. Would recommend.

Initial short delay in start but once on the job they were excellent. The rendering guys we had worked hard, were reliable, friendly and polite. It took about 4 weeks from start to finish and we always had contractors on site. Delighted with the finish. Not the cheapest who estimated but decision to go with them was absolutely the right choice.

Did exactly as they quoted and never asked for a penny more, even when there were extra expenses. Plenty of site inspections, competent and hard working staff.

Having used this company before, we were happy to go back to them as they did such a good job last ime. This time they didn't disappoint us. The workmen all know their trades and they are all polite, friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Weather problems delayed the intended start a little. Thereafter work progressed well, despite some more inclement weather. Various trades - scaffold, plumbing adjustment, insulation and render system installation and completion, roofing adjustment, re-fit of external plumbing and minor electrics, all came in planned order. Staff and tradespeople were helpful and thoughtful and workmanship looks very good.
