Fusebox fitting

Had an updated fuse box fitted with no fuss by a very nice bloke called Nick. He talked me through the process and was very thorough. I would highly recommend

Replacement of fusebox

Following a failure of my electricity supply the Contractor was fortunately free to attend immediately, completing installation of a new fusebox after two hours' work, as per his verbal estimate given after a visual inspection of the old unit. I felt the £800 charge was excessive, especially after reading the Checkatrade average/typical quoted at £450 and the £750 in the Which? Survey's report that allowed between a half and a whole day's work. My requests for a written breakdown were tetchily refused, the Contractor was 'too busy', offering only a hurried, verbal ten-seconds analysis.

General Electrical Work

Nick's been here a few times, every time it's been a real pleasure and a great job done. He's moved a fuse box inside for us, as well as installing new fans in the loo, smoke detectors and extra outlets. We recently got let down very badly by installers from a High Street department store - Nick was quick to come over and sort as much as he could as well as provide details of a trusted plumber for the rest. Top notch.
