  New electric shower fitted, plus some new wiring installed and an external wall repair

  John's associate Matt installed the shower we had supplied, but it was faulty and he identified some melted and substandard wiring connection put in by previous owner. He was able to source and successfully instal the new shower, and repackaged the other neatly so we could get our refund, and the wiring was updated by electrician Paul. Both worked tidily, kept us informed and asked our views before taking any action, and the external repair to some fallen mortar was done very well. Very happy - we have used the firm before and will happily do so again.

  New kitchen fitted

  This task involved the installation of a Howdens kitchen. John Mills(and his various team members) turned up at the appointed time every day and kept the project absolutely on track for the entire job. Importantly, he minimised the time that we were without a sink and a cooker. He cleaned up at the close of each day. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. Very professional, but conducted with courtesy and good humour. We would absolutely recommend him.

  I would highly recommend John and his team; they are polite, friendly, reliable and their work is impeccable. They worked quickly and efficiently and kept the area extremely tidy after each day. Will definitely get more work done with them. Thank you HPM, I am so pleased with my new bathroom!

  Refurbishment of two bathrooms

  There was a professional approach at all stages of the job, from protection of surrounding stead and soft furnishings to methodically tidy working practices at all times, this contractor has been a pleasure to deal with. First class workmanship and proactive communication at all times during the project made the whole experience very satisfactory.

  Completely new bathroom fitted

  Work was done to an extremely high standard. We are very pleased with the result of a modern bathroom and the team were very friendly and polite. Also was kept amused by Lee's (the tiler) off-key singing!

  John is terrific to work with. He is very helpful, courteous and explains everything clearly. He works cleanly and the house was properly protected at the very start. We were really happy with the standard of the refit. He also did some other relatively small fixes for us with no fuss and at very reasonable cost. Overall we were delighted.
