  Installing a new oven, new fuze box circuit breakers and fixing electrical faults in the kitchen

  We have had some issues recently with the electrical wiring in the house with fuzes being tripped and electrical appliances not working. We had to order a new oven as one of our 5 year old ovens stopped working. We asked Home Services to install this and also install a new circuit breaker in our fuze box. Upon installion we discovered that it was not the oven that had failed but the electrical cable running through the wall. The electrician was able to connect the oven to a different circuit. He then checked the other points throughout the house and made some changes. very thorough

  Michael and his team have carried out four significant decorating and repair tasks for us in the past five years, both internal and exterior. That tells you that we trust them to do a good job, find them reliable and that their charges are reasonable. The team is skilful, minimises disruption and tidies up fully when the job is complete. I recommend them, and will certainly use them again.

  Assorted maintenance

  Kingston Home Services did a great job on the various maintenance tasks we asked them to do: new decking, fitting a shower screen, manhole repair, a new gate and other small jobs. They were a pleasure to work with and all the work was done to a very high standard with any unexpected obstacles overcome without stress.

  Total re-furb

  I recently totally re-furbed my cottage including creating a second bathroom and re-doing the existing one. The work took two months and included plumbing, underfloor heating, flooring, tiling, wallpapering and painting every conceivable surface! The work is of a very high standard. I have recommended Kingston Home Services to several of my friends who share my opinion. All Michael’s workmen were polite, kind, helpful and industrious. Michael, himself, has a much appreciated ‘can do’ attitude. I highly recommend Kingston Home Services.

  Kitchen and bathroom refitting

  We had a bathroom and kitchen refit that also required a wall to be moved. Michael is so good and guiding and advising on you on the details. He organised everything and pointed out all the things I’d never even considered. He was amazing. The team was also amazing at executing the job and everyone was lovely and polite. I would definitely use Michael and his team again and I highly recommend them!
