    Outside house alarm issues

    We were having issues with our outside alarm. Phil wasn’t able to get to our house but he took time to explain over the phone what the potential issues might be & he was able to cause of problem. He didn’t ask for a fee and didn’t pressure us to book a date for him to come and fix the alarm. Superb customer service.

    Alarm battery replacement

    Contractor replaced a faulty battery and reset the code. Also took the time to explain how the system worked, brilliant job, no callouts.

    Initial contact was fine, then he simply failed to turn up when he said, without any prior communication, and failed to respond on three occasions. Shockingly poor service

    Response from Home Security Systems NW

    Firstly i'd like to tender my unreserved apologies to Mr Thomson for failing to attend his property on 7th April , unfortunately i was taken ill on the 6th April and subsequently hospitalised for a period of 4 days with a severe Campylobacter infection that required supportive medical assistance. Regrettably i was physically unable to contact him to reschedule our appointment having no immediate family able to assist me, being a member of Checkatrade for some 8 years now, with string of normally high scoring reviews, i can only offer my sincere apologies to Mr Thomson again , as not normally in the habit of letting clients down.

    Alarm Fault

    Had a new alarm fitted by another company some time ago but we never set it up after the company just left us with a paper guide/instructions. Came home to the internal alarm sounding off and we were unable to stop it. We called Phil and he came out within 30 mins. He was able to resolve the issue and reset the system so we now know how to activate/use it. Phil was friendly, genuine and professional. Would recommend.

    Alarm System Check and new Bell Box

    Phil responded very rapidly his communication was excellent. Phil was able to estimate the likely job and costs. On site Phil was friendly professional and good to deal with. The job was completed neatly and professionally As will call Phil in future for any electrical jobs and recommend him to others without hesitation.
