Replacement of original slate roof on a 120 year old terraced house.

I engaged Homeguard to repair part of my roof but they found more severe problems, including dry rot in the rafters caused by having foam sprayed on the underside of the slate many years ago. I was shown the problem, including the dry rot, and I am in no doubt it was real. Despite the extra work - which was exacerbated by the slates being bonded together by the foam - I had a new tiled roof with new rafters in a little over a week. I was given a new quote before the work began. I am very satisfied with the company and the people who work for it.

Upon speaking with James and him explaining the reasons why this has happened we made a plan going forward
Him and his workers worked so effectively and efficiently
We are so happy with the standard of work that was carried out

The team were friendly, polite and worked hard even through less than favourable weather conditions;plenty of tea and coffee was welcomed! The roof is a little quirky and presented some extra problems which they worked through and were happy to explain what they were doing as the job progressed, and the end result looks great!
I have another repair of a balcony roof to come and would be very happy to have them back to attend to it so would certainly recommend to anyone else.
