  Sanding/lacquering Kitchen floor

  Our kitchen floor, laid with Maple veneer, was showing many signs of wear and tear over more than 15 years. There were many water marks, stains and deep scuffs etc. We asked two companies to quote and both said that the veneer was too thin for a good result from sanding it so we were about to tile over it. However Holmwood and Co. didn't hesitate. They took great care when sanding it and nowhere did they go through the veneer. The laquering was done perfectly and we were absolutely delighted with the result. Everyone seeing it thinks we have laid a new floor.

  Floors like new!

  Pete attention to detail and his pride in doing a first class job is second to none. Explained process throughout . Floors look like new . Pete is trustworthy and great company too. Would recommend highly Sanded all floors ,lacquered 3 coats and removed all waste. Place left clean and tidy

  Beautiful, rejuvenated oak floors

  Pete sanded and oiled three rooms for us over the course of a week. He arrived each day when he said he would, carried out the work to the highest standard and completed it on time and on budget. Our oak floors have been rejuvenated and look beautiful. We would highly recommend Holmwood & Co.

  Repeat customer - herringbone flooring

  We called on Pete’s fantastic service again to do both of our bedrooms with herringbone flooring. Having re sanded and oiled our downstairs flooring last year, we knew we were in safe hands. Pete is reliable, tidy and has an attention for detail. We are so happy with our new flooring and the work was completed in the expected timescale. .
