  Hodgson & Sons provided a new flat roof for us. All aspects were treated very professionally from the supply of the quote to the explanation of the quote to the actual work. The men who came were polite and hard-working and altogether I’m very happy with the work.

  We were kept informed by the company in the date the work would start. The roofer arrived at 8:00 and started work. He kept us updated on the condition of the roof with photos before starting work and then, as he progressed. The work was excellent. No mess at all on our premises.

  Bathroom replacement

  The men (and cleaner) carrying out the work completed an excellent job. We were delayed due to their not estimating the number of tiles needed correctly, and having to wait for more to arrive, which led to their leaving us for their next job, so we had to check for snagging problems ourselves - soon fixed perfectly, but if they had completed when they expected to it would have been nice for one of the managers to have come and checked everything before handing over to us. We are very happy with the bathroom.

  Velux window fitting

  Hodgson's were highest professional quality from start to finish with my very small job of supplying and fitting my Velux window, entailing cutting into the sloping roof, removing tiles, installing the housing and fitting the window inside it and making good. Two very competent and friendly installers (Darren from Ireland and Euan from Australia) arrived promptly as promised and left the installation and the site in perfect condition. I am highly delighted with the work carried out at the competitive price quoted and have no hesitation of recommended this excellent company,

  Inspect our flat roofs and to replace a number of damaged tiles and re-pointing chimney flashing.

  Being a local company we decided to give them a try to sort out our roofing issues. They viewed the work required found the flat roofs to be in good condition so nothing needed doing, inspected the damaged tile areas, took photographs of the areas we could not see and gave recommendations which we accepted. The quote was received in no time at all and the work was carried out a day earlier than planned but could not be finished due to the awful weather. This was then completed a few days later when the weather had improved. The team used did a great job under trying circumstances.
