  The roofer himself was the difference. Turned up on time, got straight to work, and clearly knew what he was doing. Careful, methodical, no shortcuts. He kept us updated with photos as things progressed, which made it easy to trust the process. Left everything tidy at the end of each day. Just a solid, reliable tradesperson who takes pride in doing the job properly.
