Fantastic bespoke service. A master carpenter!

Historic Joinery were brilliant from start to finish. We needed new shutters made to match the original Georgian ones. Mycroft gave a great quote, delivered and installed the shutters on time. Really pleased with the result, they’re exactly like the original ones. Can’t praise him enough, would highly recommend.

Mycroft was amazing ! He was super helpful and meticulous with details. Which is always great with woodwork that has to be on display. He has a genuine passion for what he does and it shows in the craftsmanship of his work.

Mycroft’s work was immaculate. He is incredibly knowledgable about conservation, and explained clearly what could be done. He gave us a good quote and complete the work sooner than anyone else said they could. He was also always polite, on time and very thoughtful, sweeping and clearing up after himself.

Mycroft came to assess the job at the time/day he promised and subsequently did the work on the agreed date. I had been told the door couldn’t be saved and consequently both doors of the cupboard would have to be replaced. Not only was he able to repair the original door and surround but did an excellent job which saved me a great deal of money. He also did a couple of small jobs in the kitchen (redrilling a cupboard door and reaffixing the kickboard). I can’t praise him highly enough: honest, hardworking and trustworthy. I highly recommend him.
