Helped by phoning Vaillant on our behalf

First engineer turned up and had no idea how to even read the COP of the heat pump. Said he’d never worked on these before so couldn’t even tell me the COP. Second guy came out and was good, but said the antifreeze was low and the office would provide a quote to top it up. Office have decided after taking payment for the “service” that “this is not a system we wish to be involved with.” because the heat pump is “too far” from the house (it’s in the garden). Won’t even top up the antifreeze to protect the system. Stay clear!

Brought out to give quote for fixing boiler. Didn't ask us if it was okay to fix, and fixed it anyway. Received invoice following. I had several other plumbers prepared to come and give a quote, and would've appreciated being checked with before cracking on.
