    Repair two areas of lath and lime plaster on ceiling.

    Ben was excellent throughout the job. My house is 500 years old and two area on a ceiling needed to be replaced. He kept me informed about the process and completed the work as quickly as the drying process would allow. At the end of each day he thoroughly cleaned the area and vacuumed. I’m very pleased and impressed with Ben’s work and would definitely contact him again for any future projects.

    Outstanding Craftsmanship

    My house has just been completed by Ben at Heritage Restorations. At the planning stage I was quite apprehensive that I wouldn’t find the right person to remove the old mortar & replace it with a lime mortar and repoint my house, To my good fortune I saw Ben working on a local house to mine. I couldn’t have wished for a better person to do the work. His craftsmanship is outstanding, always clean and tidy. If you are looking to have any heritage restoration at your house, with peace of mind, and absolute craftsmanship, Ben is the person. You are welcome to see pictures of Bens work from him.

    Excellent workmanship

    Ben was a pleasure to work with. I had my chimneys reflaunched and repointed, and parapet wall repointed with lime mortar. The workmanship is excellent, the top of my house looks beautiful and no more leaky chimney to worry about. He also cleaned up thoroughly.

Hello, my name is Ben and I'm the proud owner of Heritage Building Restoration.

We are traditional lime mortar specialists, and we pride ourselves on our high level of craftsmanship and our passion for the repair and protection of old buildings.

Our services include lime repointing, lime plastering, masonry repairs, stonework and flint work, restorative building work, natural damp solutions, lime rendering and full façade restorations.

We serve Kent, London and the Southeast.

If your property was built before 1920 it's highly likely it was built using a lime-based mortar rather than modern cement-based ones. We specialise in the use of traditional lime mortars which are essential for the repair and maintenance of period properties and other historic buildings. Just by removing the cement and replacing it with lime you can alleviate your damp issues, and the damage associated with it.

With over 12 years' experience and a sympathetic approach, we're certain we can complete any project, big or small, to the highest standard whilst protecting your property for years to come.
