We engaged Hennessey Services initially to do some boarding work in our loft and some plastering and painting. This scope of work expanded significantly, partly as our ideas developed but mainly because during the work problems came to light, perhaps not surprisingly given the age of our Victorian house. The roof needed tiling and felting, and then structural roof issues came to light as well. The poor quality of some of our ceilings meant that they had to be plasterboarded rather than just painted. In preparation for an extension and new garden, these guys demolished around 60sq metre of external storage space and removed a large concrete base.
