George and team were excellent. Clean, meticulous in their work and precise about doing it all properly. It may be a silly thing nowadays, but I do appreciate people taking time to think about what they need to do first. Work out the most effective and efficient way of doing a job, rather than rushing. They added a new socket, fixed a botched light installation, put in a new portch light and fixed another socket in the kitchen which was in a really inaccessible place. All with speed and professionalism. Afterwards, they cleaned and tidied away. All high quality work indeed

George @ Helsdown Electrical today did a superb job in removing an EV charger and post going well beyond expectation in every way. He quoted a fair price for a job which it turned out was far more demanding than expected. Communication prior to the work, across email and sms, was excellent with frequent reminders. George turned up on time, was professional and friendly and committed to getting the job done in a safe manner. Others would have given up given the size of concrete block that the post had been set in but George demonstrated considerable tenacity and patience as the task went on

Unfortunately when I first had a problem with my house electrics I did not have Helsdown's number and rang a local electrical company and had ongoing problems despite several visits. I found Helsdown from checkatrade they promptly came out and resolved the problem. They then fully tested our electrics (something the other company should have done) and identified some other potential issues - they provided us with a full report with costings for all the work that needed to be done. The work was completed on time and on budget.
