We hired Ian to rebuild our front walls, repoint the front of the house, lay stone tiling, and install sheeted mosaic tiles on our pathway. The quality of his work is excellent —he really took his time to get everything right and made sure we were completely happy with the results. Punctuality and communication were excellent throughout the project, and he clearly takes pride in his craftsmanship. We’re thrilled with the finished result and would highly recommend him for any bricklaying or stonework projects.

We hired Ian to demolish a very dangerous retaining wall in our garden and re-build from scratch. From start to finish, he was incredibly organised, coordinating everything from waste disposal to scaffolding and rendering. Ian stayed fully focused on our project, didn’t juggle other jobs, and stuck to the agreed schedule, arriving on time every day. The new wall is perfect – flat, sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing. While we had some clearing up to do, the quality of Ian’s work and his dedication made the whole process stress-free. He was also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

I chose Ian after reading reviews and he didn’t disappoint. The work involved repointing half of a 3 bedroom detached house, repair a crack in an internal wall, remove a york stone fire place, create an opening for a new window, and create an opening between kitchen and dining room. Ian did this within the time frame and cost he said and to a very high standard. Ian is hard working, tidy, organised, punctual and polite. I’ve already asked Ian to quote on some more work for me.
